Research into popular games in Hît

The invention of a game is a process that involves combining rules, tactics and a desired result in the interests of fun. Games encourage social and knowledge-based cohesion, and they vary according to people’s economic situations, their leisure time, and their access to centres that offer sports and cultural activities.

Many of the people who invented games sought to promote mental and physical fitness so that people would be able to defend their towns in the event of an emergency.

Some of these games were based on battle tactics such as hit-and-run attacks and cutting off supplies, and they involved hiding, eavesdropping and using one’s intuition.

In Ht, many of the games promoted fitness and trained young people to run, swim and race horses, and some games involved target practice.
